This editorial policy defines our values, journalistic principles, and newsroom ethics that guide every story we produce.
1. Editorial Independence
Nexeons maintains complete editorial independence.
No advertiser, sponsor, or political group has control over our newsroom decisions.
We clearly label all sponsored content to avoid confusion between advertisement and editorial material.
2. Accuracy and Verification
We publish stories only after cross-verifying facts from multiple credible sources.
Every article is reviewed by at least one editor before publication.
If an error is found, it is corrected transparently, and an update note is added to the article.
3. Transparency and Accountability
- All our journalists follow a strict Code of Ethics based on fairness, neutrality, and respect for truth.
- If we receive corrections, they are addressed within 24 hours of verification.
- We disclose affiliations, sponsorships, or partnerships wherever relevant.
4. Distinction Between News and Opinion
We clearly separate factual news reports from opinion or editorial commentary.
Opinion pieces are marked as “Opinion” and represent the writer’s personal viewpoint, not the organization’s stance.
5. Fact-Checking
Our Fact Check Desk verifies viral claims, social media posts, and political statements before labeling them as True, False, or Misleading.
Each report cites its evidence and uses the ClaimReview schema for transparency.
6. Conflict of Interest
All Nexeons journalists are required to declare any conflict of interest.
Staff members are prohibited from accepting gifts, favors, or payments from individuals or organizations they cover.
7. Diversity and Inclusivity
Nexeons strives to represent diverse voices and regions of India.
We are committed to gender-sensitive and inclusive reporting practices.
